What is Open UBC?

For best practices on having a universal design of your online content please refer to the UBC OER Accessibility Toolkit. This toolkit is equipped with 8 best practices with examples and answers the why, what, and how of digital accessibility. As you work through the content of the OER Accessibility Toolkit, you will find that the suggestions provided are intended for the non-technical user. If you are looking for more technical descriptions of how to make your work accessible, we suggest reviewing the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
