Canvas: UBC’s current online Learning Management System
Google Docs: Web-based office productivity suite with real-time collaborative editing and commenting
iClicker: A radio frequency device that allows students to answer instructor’s questions.
iPeer: Student peer evalution system
Lynda.com: Online collection of self-paced instructional videos on a variety of topics. Availavle for UBC Faculty and Staff here!
OMR(Optimal Mark Reader): Machine which processes paper-based answers into computable data. Generally known as Scantrons.
Qualitrics: A software which collects data through surveys, feedback, and polls.
Slack: Multimedia communication platform used between LTRs and other groups
WordPress: A website and blog hosting platform used for both UBC Blogs and UBC CMS
